About the Role

Numour is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Executive to manage day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure efficient inventory handling, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse processes, and ensuring timely dispatch of customer orders across Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and marketplace channels.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and e-commerce fulfillment who thrive in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
  • Ensure smooth warehouse operations while maintaining high standards of productivity, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and optimize workflow.

Inbound Operations

  • Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure timely receipt of inventory.
  • Verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders (POs) and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure proper storage and systematic put-away of inventory.

Outbound Operations

  • Oversee order processing, picking, packing, and dispatch for D2C and marketplace orders.
  • Ensure shipments are dispatched within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
  • Monitor order fulfillment performance and resolve operational bottlenecks.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure high stock accuracy.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, damaged, expired, and non-moving inventory.
  • Ensure inventory is managed using FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) principles wherever applicable.

Team Coordination

  • Supervise and support warehouse associates in daily operational activities.
  • Allocate work, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to operational procedures.
  • Train team members on warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and best practices.

Process Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, safety regulations, and operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for inventory receipts, dispatches, stock transfers, and returns.
  • Support warehouse layout optimization to improve storage utilization and picking efficiency.

Reporting & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Prepare daily MIS reports covering inventory status, inbound receipts, dispatch performance, pending orders, and operational KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Customer Support, E-commerce, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse efficiency, reduce errors, and improve customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or order fulfillment.
  • Preferred experience in D2C, E-commerce, FMCG, Beauty, Personal Care, or Retail industries.
  • Experience handling high-volume order fulfillment and inventory control will be an advantage.
