Job Summary
The role is responsible for owning, designing, and continuously improving best-in-class planning processes within a defined domain (e.g., inventory, deployment, lifecycle) across the Service Supply Chain Planning Center of Excellence (COE). The position combines deep supply chain planning process expertise, strong analytical skills, and ERP/planning systems knowledge to deliver scalable process designs, practical recommendations, and measurable business outcomes aligned with customer needs and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Process Design & Transformation
- Lead the design and deployment of best-in-class supply chain planning processes within the assigned planning domain.
- Define target process scope, requirements, milestones, risks, and dependencies for transformation initiatives.
- Structure complex planning challenges into clear process workstreams, business requirements, and deliverables.
- Drive stakeholder alignment on process design, standardization, and adoption priorities.
- Support process decision-making through structured analysis, trade-off evaluation, and actionable recommendations.
- Manage process governance, documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Deliver measurable improvements in service, inventory, and cost performance.
Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement
- Own the end-to-end design and continuous improvement of planning processes within the assigned domain.
- Benchmark and enhance planning processes to achieve standardized, scalable, and best-in-class solutions.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, business rules, operating standards, and adoption materials.
- Provide subject matter expertise to ensure consistency across planning processes, data flows, and ERP/planning systems.
- Define and monitor process KPIs, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Planning Systems & ERP Enablement
- Ensure ERP and planning systems effectively support target process design and business requirements.
- Align planning system capabilities with process improvements and transformation initiatives.
- Support ERP and advanced planning tool enablement to improve operational efficiency.
Analytics & Business Performance
- Apply analytical skills to convert complex data into actionable planning insights.
- Define process performance metrics and monitor KPI achievement.
- Perform root-cause analysis and recommend process improvements based on data-driven findings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex planning challenges.
- Bring together diverse stakeholder perspectives to support informed decision-making.
- Build strong partnerships to ensure successful implementation of planning processes.
Knowledge Sharing & Capability Development
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to capability development within the Planning COE.
- Document best practices and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Promote continuous learning and process maturity across the organization.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 7–10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Process Design, or Supply Chain Transformation.
- Experience in supply chain planning process design, ownership, or continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical experience translating data into actionable insights and business recommendations.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, advanced planning tools, and transformation initiatives.
