Supply Chain Operations Associate Manager

About the Opportunity

Accenture is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Associate Manager to support end-to-end Order Fulfillment Planning within its Supply Chain Operations practice. This role focuses on demand forecasting, inventory planning, fulfillment optimization, and cross-functional coordination to ensure efficient order execution and superior customer service.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, inventory management, and data analytics within a dynamic, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Forecasting

• Support the demand planning team in developing, maintaining, and refining demand forecasts across product categories.
• Analyze historical sales data, trends, seasonality, and market intelligence to improve forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to incorporate promotions, product launches, and business initiatives into demand plans.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and recommend improvements.

Data Management

• Collect, consolidate, and maintain demand planning data from ERP systems and forecasting tools.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of planning data.
• Maintain planning systems and master data to support reliable forecasting and reporting.

Inventory Planning & Monitoring

• Monitor inventory levels to ensure alignment with forecasted demand.
• Identify potential stock-outs, excess inventory, and inventory imbalances.
• Work with Supply Chain teams to optimize inventory levels while minimizing waste and working capital.
• Support inventory flow planning to improve product availability and service levels.

Order Fulfillment Planning

• Plan inventory and capacity required to fulfill customer orders.
• Coordinate transportation and delivery planning across the supply chain.
• Support efficient order fulfillment by ensuring products are available, picked, packed, and delivered on time.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Procurement, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Inventory teams.
• Participate in forecast review meetings and planning discussions.
• Communicate forecast updates, inventory risks, and planning changes to relevant stakeholders.
• Align demand plans with business objectives and operational capabilities.

Reporting & Analytics

• Analyze demand planning KPIs, including:
• Forecast Accuracy
• Forecast Bias
• Fill Rate
• Stock-out Performance
• Inventory Levels
• Prepare reports and dashboards for management review.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights.

Team Leadership

• Solve moderately complex operational and planning challenges.
• Develop new solutions by adapting existing planning methodologies.
• Manage small to medium-sized teams or planning workstreams.
• Support strategic initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal leadership to achieve business goals.

Required Qualifications

• Any Bachelor's Degree.
• 10–14 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, or Order Fulfillment.
• Experience working in high-volume supply chain, retail, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
• Strong understanding of demand forecasting methodologies and inventory planning.
• Experience working with ERP systems and demand planning tools.
