Supply Chain Manager

About the Role

Lingaro is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager with strong expertise in integrated business planning, including supply and demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, and procurement, supported by supply chain data, analytics, and AI.

In this role, you will help develop and grow a dedicated part of the Supply Chain Analytics practice, translating complex business challenges into practical, data-driven solutions. You will act as a subject matter expert for selected supply chain domains, supporting client advisory, pre-sales, solution design, development, and delivery while collaborating with cross-functional consulting, analytics, AI, and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Domain & Practice Development

• Support the development of Supply Chain Analytics offerings focused on business planning, forecasting, inventory optimization, demand planning, and procurement analytics.
• Develop reusable assets such as demand forecasting models, inventory dashboards, planning insights, and supply chain performance monitoring tools.
• Contribute to solution roadmaps aligned with business priorities and go-to-market strategies.
• Identify opportunities to enhance existing offerings based on client needs and market trends.

Client Advisory, Pre-Sales & Solution Design

• Participate in client discussions, discovery workshops, and business needs assessments.
• Translate business challenges into analytics use cases and practical implementation strategies.
• Support proposal development, RFIs, RFPs, project scoping, estimations, and solution design.
• Collaborate with data, AI, cloud, and delivery teams to develop business-focused analytics solutions.

Delivery Excellence & Value Realization

• Provide subject matter expertise throughout project delivery.
• Guide project teams on supply chain planning, forecasting, inventory optimization, and business adoption.
• Ensure delivered solutions generate measurable business value.
• Capture lessons learned and continuously improve reusable solution assets.

People & Capability Building

• Mentor and coordinate consultants and specialists within assigned projects.
• Share knowledge and best practices in supply chain analytics and planning.
• Contribute to internal playbooks, training materials, and knowledge repositories.
• Foster collaboration across consulting, analytics, AI, and delivery teams.

Partnerships & Thought Leadership

• Support joint initiatives with technology partners and supply chain solution providers.
• Contribute to webinars, articles, client presentations, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Stay current with emerging trends in supply chain analytics, AI-enabled forecasting, and inventory optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Around 15 years of professional experience in supply chain, consulting, and data analytics.
• Strong expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Supply Planning
• Demand Planning
• Forecasting
• Inventory Management
• Procurement
• Experience designing and implementing supply chain analytics solutions, dashboards, forecasting models, optimization tools, or decision-support systems.
• Strong understanding of supply chain KPIs including:
• Forecast Accuracy
• Forecast Bias
• Service Levels
• Inventory Turns
• Stock Availability
• Safety Stock
• Planning Efficiency
• Experience supporting client-facing engagements including workshops, solution design, business case development, and consulting delivery.
• Experience leading teams, mentoring consultants, or managing project workstreams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data, analytics, and AI-driven solutions.
• Good understanding of modern BI, cloud, data, and analytics technologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in global or matrix organizations.
