About the Role

Sun Pharma is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Analytics & Sales Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager to drive data-driven decision-making across the supply chain. This role will be responsible for leading the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, developing key supply chain performance metrics, and delivering strategic initiatives focused on demand planning, inventory optimization, logistics efficiency, and digital transformation.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, experience in supply chain planning, and expertise in implementing technology solutions that enhance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

• Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by providing actionable business insights and enabling data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand, supply, inventory, and business objectives.

Supply Chain Performance Management

• Design, monitor, and communicate key Supply Chain KPIs, including:
• Service Level (Sufficiency)
• Inventory Days on Hand (DOH)
• Distribution and Logistics Cost
• Slow-Moving & Obsolete Inventory (SLOB)
• Operational Reliability
• Develop dashboards and reports to track business performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Supply Chain Optimization

• Drive strategic initiatives in:
• Demand Planning
• Inventory Optimization
• Logistics and Freight Optimization
• Loadability and Transportation Efficiency
• Conduct Cost-to-Serve analysis and support annual budgeting exercises.
• Lead inventory optimization and segmentation studies to improve supply chain performance and reduce costs.

Digital Transformation & Analytics

• Lead the implementation of supply chain technology solutions such as:
• Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
• Kinaxis
• Drive the supply chain analytics agenda by leveraging data visualization and analytics tools.
• Develop interactive dashboards and business insights using Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, or similar analytical platforms.
• Promote data-driven decision-making across supply chain functions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree (Preferred).

Experience

• 6–8 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Supply Chain Analytics, Logistics, or Supply Chain Excellence.
• Hands-on experience implementing Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Kinaxis, or similar supply chain planning solutions.
• Strong experience in inventory optimization, demand planning, and logistics performance improvement.
• Experience in supply chain budgeting, cost analysis, and performance reporting.
