About the Role

Homeland Group is seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to oversee procurement operations for its real estate and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sourcing construction materials, managing vendor relationships, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring timely procurement to support project execution.

This role requires strong commercial acumen, excellent coordination skills, and a thorough understanding of procurement processes within the real estate and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement of construction materials, MEP items, finishing materials, and project-related services.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, perform comparative cost analysis, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) while ensuring timely procurement aligned with project timelines.
• Collaborate with project, engineering, site, finance, and store teams to understand procurement requirements.
• Monitor material availability and ensure uninterrupted supply to project sites.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors while identifying new sourcing opportunities.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, budgets, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor market trends, material pricing, and supplier performance to achieve cost optimization.
• Verify vendor invoices and procurement documentation, and coordinate with the accounts team for timely payment processing.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, contracts, and MIS reports.
• Resolve procurement-related issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and vendor disputes.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, value engineering, and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 6–7 years of relevant procurement experience in the Real Estate or Construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, procurement processes, and supply chain operations.
• Proven experience in vendor development, supplier evaluation, and commercial negotiations.
• Good understanding of contracts, commercial terms, procurement documentation, and compliance.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in cost comparison and budgeting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
