About the Role

Birdeye is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to support and optimize the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for its global SaaS business. The role is responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, procurement automation, and cost optimization across software, IT, cloud infrastructure, and professional services categories. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in global technology procurement and cross-functional stakeholder management.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement

  • Develop and execute global procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and financial goals.
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing activities across software, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, IT, and professional services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic suppliers to support global business operations.
  • Drive procurement best practices and continuous process improvements.

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Lead vendor evaluation, selection, and contract negotiations for enterprise software and IT services.
  • Manage software license procurement, subscription renewals, and enterprise agreements.
  • Maintain vendor performance scorecards and support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with strategic suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality, service, and value delivery.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Information Security, and Compliance teams to ensure contractual compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Support global business teams in identifying approved vendors, negotiating pricing, and ensuring adherence to procurement policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast procurement requirements and budget impacts.

Procurement Operations

  • Maintain an up-to-date vendor database, including contract renewal schedules and software adoption details.
  • Drive procurement automation initiatives and support implementation of scalable procurement tools.
  • Monitor procurement performance, process efficiency, and vendor compliance across multiple regions.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit requirements, and global regulatory standards.
  • Monitor adherence to data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and export control requirements.
  • Support procurement governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Master's Degree or MBA preferred.

Experience

  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Vendor Management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a SaaS, Cloud, or Technology environment.
  • Experience managing procurement activities across multiple global regions.
  • Proven expertise in software licensing, enterprise agreements, SaaS renewals, and IT contract negotiations.
  • Experience with procurement automation platforms and tools.
