About the Role

Infosys is seeking an experienced Procurement professional to manage the end-to-end sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of infrastructure-related products and services. The role focuses on Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), HVAC, Facility Management, and Building Infrastructure procurement while ensuring cost optimization, quality, timely delivery, and compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

• Manage end-to-end sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of infrastructure-related products and services.
• Analyze both technical and commercial aspects of procurement requirements related to MEP, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing (PHE), Building Construction, and Facility Management.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified vendors for infrastructure procurement.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives through effective negotiations and strategic sourcing.
• Analyze pricing structures and negotiate favorable commercial terms within approved budgets.

Purchase Order Management

• Review and approve purchase orders in accordance with delegated authority limits.
• Ensure purchase orders are supported with complete documentation before obtaining final approvals.
• Handle procurement requirements for infrastructure projects and operational needs.

Vendor Management

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
• Evaluate vendor performance using SAP and other performance metrics.
• Address vendor-related issues and implement corrective actions to improve supplier performance.
• Manage vendor registration and empanelment to ensure reliable supplier partnerships.

Market Research & Supplier Development

• Continuously monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and new products.
• Identify alternative products and suppliers to improve quality, innovation, and cost competitiveness.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.

Delivery & Payment Coordination

• Resolve procurement escalations to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth payment processing.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply while maintaining service quality.

Customs & Regulatory Compliance

• Manage STPI/SEZ documentation for duty-free imports.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with statutory regulations and company policies.
• Maintain complete documentation for audits and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Experience in procurement of MEP, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Building Infrastructure, or Facility Management services.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience working with SAP or other ERP procurement systems is preferred.
