Job Summary

The Manager – Supply Chain Management will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing Tee Ess' end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure seamless procurement, production planning, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution. The role focuses on maintaining optimum inventory levels, ensuring timely product availability across sales channels, improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and supporting business growth through effective cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Demand & Supply Planning

  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasts based on sales trends, historical data, and market insights.
  • Align demand planning with Sales, Marketing, Amazon, E-commerce, and Operations teams.
  • Prepare rolling forecasts, supply plans, and production capacity plans.
  • Ensure optimum stock availability across warehouses and distribution channels while minimizing inventory carrying costs and stock-outs.
  • Monitor demand variability and implement corrective actions to improve forecast accuracy.

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Source and procure raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and other operational requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, lead times, and service level agreements.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost efficiency.
  • Identify alternate sourcing opportunities to improve supply chain resilience and procurement efficiency.

Production Planning

  • Prepare weekly and monthly production plans aligned with demand forecasts and inventory requirements.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams.
  • Ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials.
  • Monitor production schedules and achieve OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery targets.
  • Track production performance and drive continuous process improvements.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain optimum inventory levels across manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and fulfillment centers.
  • Monitor inventory turnover, stock ageing, and inventory health.
  • Reduce slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
  • Implement inventory control policies, cycle counts, and periodic stock audits.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with operational policies.

Logistics & Distribution

  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations.
  • Optimize transportation routes, freight costs, and logistics service levels.
  • Ensure timely dispatches to distributors, retail partners, modern trade outlets, and e-commerce fulfillment centers.
  • Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to improve service quality and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor logistics KPIs and implement initiatives to enhance delivery performance.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, Warehouse, and E-commerce teams.
  • Coordinate inventory planning for promotional campaigns, product launches, seasonal demand, and business expansion.
  • Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare weekly and monthly supply chain performance reports and dashboards.
  • Analyze operational data to identify cost-saving opportunities and productivity improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
  • MBA/Postgraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, or Materials Management will be preferred.

Experience

  • 6–10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Planning, Logistics, or Operations.
  • Proven experience in Demand Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management, Production Planning, Warehouse Operations, and Logistics.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, inventory management tools, and supply chain analytics.
  • Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Retail, D2C, or E-commerce industries will be preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position based at Tee Ess' corporate office and manufacturing facility.
  • Regular coordination with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, Logistics, Sales, Finance, Suppliers, and Business Partners.
  • Extended working hours may be required during peak production periods, major customer orders, new product launches, and business-critical operations.
  • Occasional travel to manufacturing plants, warehouses, supplier locations, customer sites, and distribution centers as required.
