IT Procurement Category Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Procurement Category Manager to support strategic sourcing and procurement activities across indirect spend categories. This role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, leading sourcing initiatives, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver cost-effective procurement solutions.

The ideal candidate should possess strong procurement expertise, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple sourcing projects in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

• Execute end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities across indirect spend categories.
• Lead RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP), supplier evaluations, and commercial negotiations.
• Manage contract preparation, execution, and supplier onboarding activities.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier optimization.

Supplier & Contract Management

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and external partners.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, service levels, and contract conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Coordinate supplier communications throughout the procurement lifecycle.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and deliver sourcing solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support procurement initiatives and business objectives.
• Provide regular updates on sourcing progress, contract status, and procurement milestones.

Procurement Operations

• Track sourcing activities, project timelines, and contract milestones.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with internal policies and governance standards.
• Support procurement transformation initiatives and continuous process improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
