Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Supply Chain Planning to lead end-to-end distribution planning, inventory optimization, and supply continuity across domestic and international markets. The role is responsible for demand-driven supply planning, distribution management, export planning, inventory optimization, digital transformation, and process automation to ensure high service levels and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in supply planning, SAP, Power BI, Advanced Excel, analytics, and cross-functional stakeholder management while driving continuous improvement across supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Planning & Distribution Management

• Manage domestic supply and distribution planning across multiple warehouses and depots to ensure seamless product availability.
• Develop replenishment strategies and Stock Transfer Order (STO) planning for more than 7,000 SKUs across Pan-India distribution networks.
• Monitor inventory coverage, stock availability, stock aging, and depot-level inventory balancing to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Drive demand-supply alignment through forecast-based planning in collaboration with Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales teams.

International Supply Planning & Export Operations

• Lead global supply and demand planning activities across 46+ international markets.
• Coordinate export order planning, inventory allocation, production scheduling, and shipment execution.
• Improve export planning accuracy and reduce supply lead times.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, logistics partners, and export stakeholders to ensure timely dispatches and smooth international operations.

Inventory Optimization & Continuous Improvement

• Lead SKU rationalization initiatives to reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
• Develop inventory optimization strategies to improve working capital and inventory productivity.
• Identify process improvement opportunities using data-driven analysis.
• Implement Lean methodologies and standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency.

Digital Transformation & Analytics

• Develop and maintain supply chain dashboards using SAP, Power BI, and Advanced Excel.
• Automate planning workflows, STO processing, inventory monitoring, and reporting activities.
• Generate actionable insights through supply chain analytics and KPI reporting.
• Support digital transformation initiatives by integrating automation and reporting solutions into planning operations.

Trading Items Planning

• Manage planning activities for externally sourced (non-manufactured) trading products.
• Coordinate with Procurement and suppliers to ensure timely replenishment.
• Monitor supplier lead times, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ), supplier performance, and procurement costs.
• Maintain accurate master data including lead times, pack sizes, costs, and supplier information.

B2B Order Fulfilment

• Manage B2B customer order allocation and supply planning across India.
• Coordinate with Sales and Key Account teams on order prioritization and product availability.
• Ensure On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance targets are consistently achieved.
• Work closely with Logistics teams to resolve delivery exceptions and optimize dispatch planning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, Sales, Export, Finance, and IT teams.
• Coordinate with distributors, logistics service providers, freight forwarders, and international partners.
• Participate in S&OE and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) meetings, providing insights on inventory, supply risks, and business opportunities.
• Support new product introductions, product transitions, and SKU rationalization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain Management or Operations will be an advantage.
