Job Summary

LRT Group, a leading manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Purchase to manage procurement activities and strengthen the organization's sourcing capabilities. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in procurement, vendor management, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management within the steel foundry or machining industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for production and engineering requirements.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize procurement costs.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and timely delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and resolve procurement-related issues.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain efficiency.

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of achieving cost savings while maintaining quality and delivery performance.
